What's It All About

Introducing Bridlington Comedy Festival; a programme of live comedy and special events aiming to put a smile on people’s faces.

Taking place from 24th to 31st July 2010 the festival with feature stars of comedy old and new at the Bridlington Spa, plus a fringe festival and special events throughout the town to make the festival a great experience for local people, tourists and visiting fans of live comedy.

The goals of Bridlington Comedy Festival are to:

• Create an annual festival to which acts and audiences travel to Bridlington for their fix of comedy and fun at the resort.
• Further establish Bridlington Spa as a major and nationally renowned entertainment venue.
• Provide local people and businesses with a boost and another reason to proud of Bridlington, and
• Guarantee value and a good time for everyone involved in the festival so that they are enthusiastic about being a part of the festival the following year, and the year after that, etc.

Bridlington Comedy Festival is presented by East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Tourism Unit, in partnership with Bridlington Spa. The festival is organised and promoted by creative marketing team eskimosoup.

We are looking for sponsors, partners, venues, promoters and acts to get involved in making Bridlington’s first comedy festival a big success.
